We have to admit from a reasonably short distance our 948cc Convertible looks pretty good. It has been treated to an ‘outer’ side respray in the original colour of Signal Red at some point the past (we’d love to be able to determine when) however a couple of areas upon close inspection were beginning to look very tired – one of the first items to address were the wheels.

The first photo shows the wheels and tyres (rather frustrating quite new tyres but a pretty naff make). The wheels were all taken off shot blasted and powder coated by a local firm whom were great to deal with and will certainly get more business in the near future.

4 better hubcaps were taken from our hoard of spares and, as yet, the rim embellishers were not put back on. From which all the latest photos of the car look rather spendid with the wheels looking a lot, lot better.
