Any Excuse?

A planned photo shoot during the lovely (unseasonal) weather of 1st October and VDL634 was pressed into action and proved to be an ideal photo/video car – complete with a Go-Pro mounted on the windscreen/bulkhead for forward filming and a tripod positioned on the rear seats for rear-view filming. The subject was a couple of fantastic vintage steam-powered Stanley steam cars and the shoot was to promote the cars as ideal wedding transport.

Steam Cars and Triumph Herald

The convoy looked rather impressive with the Herald leading and the two steam cars happily following behind through Dunchurch, the grounds at Dunchurch Park and on to Draycote Water.

The comments were great, not only for the steam cars but for the Herald too!
