Out and about – a good run in blisteringly hot weather. The hottest day of the year so far, a probably a while before it’s beaten. Having the radiator recored last year proved its worth again with the temperature staying no higher than ‘in the middle’ throughout the trip.
The trip began at the Post Office sending out the latest batch of Triumph Herald books. These are now getting great feedback with 120 now sent.
‘Rosie’ ran well throughout the trip. The oil light flickered on when idling at a gated road but the oil level seems fine and it never came on during motion. The trip featured a number of local villages – Woolscott, Grandborough, Sawbridge, Lower Shuckburgh, Napton on the Hill, Stockton, Kites Hardwick, Draycote Water and Dunchurch. Very pleasant.
